We start by meeting you in the garden for an hour or more to assess the site, talk about likes and dislikes, possible improvements, maintenance issues and budget considerations. We’ll collaborate on design concepts that are based on your needs to generate sketches and suggest plants for your garden renovation.

Concept plans are draft plans based on the homeowner's survey that illustrate existing features and desired concepts keyed to the initial site assessment. If needed, scaled design plans with corresponding planting schemes are produced for bidding purposes and implementation. Initial consulting fees are credited toward the drafting costs associated with any set of landscape plans.

If you don’t want to handle planting or improvements by yourself, A New Leaf will assist in the process by soliciting competitive bids from licensed contractors and supervising the final installation, assuring you of the best outcome in translating the design from paper to landscape.

If you’d like a fresh eye on your existing garden or guidance in how to maintain your plants, we are available for garden coaching. While working in your garden, we’ll share information on plant health and upkeep, demonstrate pruning and transplanting methods, identify shrubs, perennials and other common cultivars as well as weed while we go along. You’ll get the work done and learn how to do it yourself.

We are available to help with installation of small gardens, spring and fall cleanup, as well as regular maintenance including hand pruning, edging, weeding and mulching. Monthly contracts are negotiable for repeat or regular service intervals.
